Ramsgate Care Home

This project was a collaborative effort with another good friend and Architect, Mo, whom was approached to design the conversion of the existing into a 70 room care home in Ramsgate, UK.

The current building, which is essentially the lower half of the design, stands only meters away from the edge of a cliff with views over the north sea.

We thought it would be a great idea to use our Artistic Rendering method of presentation here. Wayne used Google maps to model the building and surrounding area on the first day, and after populating the model he rendered the two images below and quickly them put together into a layout for presentation to the client, only a few days later.

We printed the two images out on card stock paper and produced them at the meeting. The feedback from the client was that they were "absolutely blown away".

Below is the Google image Wayne used to produce the model.

Below is the perspective view render of the model.

The layout below is an axonometric view of the model and surrounding area coupled with the above perspective view, toned down to produce this lovely layout presentation sheet.
